Tex Year ® UL Hot Melt Glue Stick has the flame retardant certification of UL94V-0 (certificate number: E209485)
It can be used in electrical and electronic products, such as power supplies, audio, printers, air conditioners, refrigerators, medical machines, etc. It also can applied to fixing and filling of PCB components, such as capacitors, inductors, coils, cables, jumpers, etc. It can provide electronic components the function of fastening, reinforcement, protection, shake proof, insulating, and sealing.
Tex Year ® Hot Melt Glue Stick, 914W and 918A, are high-performance glue sticks with UL94V-0 flame retardant grade, good electrical insulation characteristics, good bonding strength, and moderate heat resistance that are very suitable for electronic industry applications.
Their properties are described as follows:
1. Hot Melt Adhesive that is in Compliance with UL94V0 flame retardant ：
914W and 918A are made of polyolefin material. Although they are added with flame retardant to reach the standard of UL94V0 flame, they still can maintain other great adhesion characteristic. Every year we will receive the sampling and testing of UL laboratory to comply with UL Laboratory certification.

2. Excellent Adhesion Performance
914W and 918A have very wide ranges of bonding ability, and have great bonding strength with electronic board material-FR4, each grade of fiberglass epoxy substrate, phenolic resin substrate, polyester (PET). Moreover, they have very good adhesion performance to bond with plastic materials, such as polyester, polyamide, polycarbonate (PC), ABS, polystyrene (PS).
They also can reach excellent bonding strength when applied to common metals, such as copper (Cu), aluminum (Al) and stainless steel.
3. Excellent Dielectric property of Electric Appliance
Polyolefin, which is plastic material, won’t absorb water and has insulation property. Although it is added with flame retardant, it is still an insulator that is enough to reach the purpose of insulation, fire retardant, and fixing of 4C products.
4. Moderate High Temperature Resistant
The softening point of 914W and 918A is at 140 ~ 150 ℃ and its heat resistance can reach up to 100 ℃, which has already surpassed the requirement of heat resistance in electronic industry.
5. Easy Operation
The glue stick, melted by glue gun, can be operated by single person. It will be melted at high temperature, and achieve fixing function after cooling and curing. It is non-spacing, the operation time is short, and operation speed is fast. It doesn’t need to take a long time to wait for curing.
